CONNECT Music Licensing has created a visual resource to help artist-entrepreneurs, labels, songwriters, and performers better understand the complex world of collective royalty management.

With a simple flowchart format, the Collective Management Organizations in Canada: Music Royalties Explained graphic helps creators understand the royalties that they are entitled to when their music is streamed online, played on the radio or broadcast in a restaurant, club, bar, fitness club, live event venue, and more.

By following the flowchart and registering with the applicable collective management organizations (CMOs), artists and rightsholders can ensure they are collecting all the royalty streams they are entitled to.
